Psychedelic Mushroom Dispensary.org, the public record

About Psychedelic Mushroom Dispensary

This is a public-record reference, not a store: it sells nothing, and it tells you plainly that no state licenses a walk-in psilocybin dispensary. It's published by the people who run an online shop, and this page explains how we handle that.

What is this site?

Psychedelic Mushroom Dispensary is a reference on psilocybin "mushroom dispensaries" in the United States, built from public records. It answers the question people type into a search box: is there a legal one near me? There isn't. No state licenses a shop where you can walk in and buy psilocybin.

So the site shows what does exist. That means the licensed programs (supervised sessions in Oregon and Colorado, and narrow patient-only pilots elsewhere), the storefronts that call themselves dispensaries and what happened to them, what lab tests found in the gummies and chocolates sold in shops, and where to get help if something goes wrong. Despite the name, nothing is sold here. The name is the phrase people search for; the answer is the record.

Why does it exist?

When we searched phrases like "mushroom dispensary near me" in November 2026, the top results were mostly seller pages, paid articles on news sites, spam and years-old local news stories about a "first legal dispensary." Few of them cited a statute, an agency record or a court order.

The facts exist. They're spread across city council minutes, prosecutors' policies, court orders, agency releases and medical journals. This site gathers them in one place and puts a date and a source on each one, so a reader can see what the law says, what the risks are and what the legal options are, and then make their own choice.

How is the register built?

The register is a dated list of public-record events about storefront psilocybin sellers and the local laws they point to, from 2019 to 2026: decriminalization measures, storefront counts reported by officials or news outlets, raids, charges, closures, warning letters, lawsuits and other government actions. Each record gives the date, the state and city, the agency involved, what happened, the outcome and links to its sources.

Each record also carries a confidence label: confirmed in an official record, reported by news outlets, or reported once and not confirmed. Records follow the naming rules in our editorial standards: no street addresses, no private individuals, and a business named only when an official record or at least two news outlets name it, and only as raided, charged, warned, closed or sued. The register data is licensed CC BY 4.0, so you can reuse it with credit.

Who writes it?

The Dispensary Register editors. Pages carry the desk's byline rather than individual names, and the desk answers for every page. Pages are drafted and checked with AI tools against the cited sources, and a second checker who didn't write a page reviews its facts before it's published. The illustrations are made with an AI image tool, and each one says so in its caption.

Who owns this site?

Psychedelic Mushroom Dispensary is published by the people who run My Mushroom Dispensary, an online shop for adults 21 and older. The shop isn't licensed by any state, because no state licenses mail-order psilocybin, and buying psilocybin online or by mail is illegal under federal law and in every state.

That's a conflict of interest, and you should read the site with it in mind. Here's how we handle it:

  • Every page has a Products button near the top that goes to the shop's order page. The line under it says where it goes: "From our sister shop, My Mushroom Dispensary. Adults 21+ only." On the help page it sits below the emergency numbers.
  • Some guides also link to the shop in their text and in a short box, and each of those boxes carries a disclosure saying who runs it.
  • Apart from the Products button, the register, the news posts, the legal and safety pages, the help page, the glossary and these site pages carry no links to the shop, except the one in this section.
  • The site sells no advertising and takes no payment for links or coverage.
  • Apart from those disclosed links to its publishers' own shop, the site never lists or locates sellers. The register names a storefront business only as raided, charged, warned, closed or sued, and never gives an address, hours, a phone number, a website or a social account for one.
  • Facts link to their sources, so you can check them without taking our word for it.
